Oh yes. I spent the first month thinking I should have a timetable and colour coded folders ready 😂 My daughter mostly baked, drew and slept. Looking back she really needed that time. The learning started creeping back in once she felt safe enough.

We started in January and I felt exactly the same. Everyone said relax but its hard when your used to school telling you what should happen. It does get easier honestly.

My boy was 9 when we started and wouldn’t pick up a pencil for weeks. I panicked. Six months later he was writing pages about a game he wanted to design. Give yourselves time, it sounds like you’re doing just fine.
