    • Twelve years in and I still occasionally get that worried feeling of, “Am I giving him the best opportunities?” I don’t think it ever completely goes away.

      • It does get easier, although I still have the odd wobble after five years! I find it helps to look back over a whole month rather than judging individual days. You usually realise they have covered far more than you thought.

        • Yesterday mine spent most of the afternoon making a den and arguing about how to stop the roof falling in 😂 No written work at all, but plenty of planning, measuring, problem solving and negotiation!
